"Tai gau", the waiter cried out. A man came to the front to pay for the bill, then received his food and came back to his table. The soup was hot, delicious that brought him great happiness.
Doing the same thing as that man, people waited for their turn to get their bowls of Pho. Although i visited this place at 9 P.M, i reliazed that the number of people coming here was getting bigger and bigger.
However, people did not have to wait so long to try the food.
Kitchen is on the left. Insides of its stood a man in the early 50 sliding the beef meat into pieces proficiently. Staying by him, a woman was in charge of putting Banh Pho into a bowl and, step by step, handed it to a young man who had duty to pour the soup into that bowl.
It took me 5 minutes to get the food. Oh my god, it tasted so good, the pleasant smell coming from the soup caused an appetite on me indeed. I had it with a joyful feeling which i never met anywhere else before.
As a matter of fact, Pho has become a main, popular dish of every breakfast in Hanoi capital. One of my friends, an original Hanoi resident, has informed that there are quite a lot of restaurants that serve Pho in such town but people would prefer to come here, wait in a queue to try Pho. He also told me that he used to stop visiting this place for a short time due to his anger about being burn by the soup but then he missed it so much that he always took advantage of his precious time to buy himself a bowl of Pho in this restaurant every time he was on business.
So, what is special about such place that attracts so many people like that? The answer is this is an old, traditional restaurant. The age of its may surprise those who never heard about it before. It opened in the sixties of the previous century. There has been no change since that day. The picture of a queue of people standing and waiting for their turn to get the food has become familiar with many generations.
So why don't you make a date with your friend or your family to call by and enjoy fully the happy moment here? I believe that it won't let you down.
