The name Bien Nho seems to get spreaded in the culinary world of Saigon. Is it possible that this is an out-of-order arrangement or is Bien Nho by chance situated on a long passage of the peaceful Saigon river? The name is sound and suggests many meanings with interesting explanations. Therefore, when visiting, customers may find it hard to forget such a nice place where winds blow and waves tap the the sides of a ship carrying those enjoying good meals in such a lyrical scene.
The restaurant’s location, possibly speaking, is unique. It is in the area of Saigon port, which surprises and interests many customers. Designed with an open space, Bien Nho is different from the city skyscrapers. The place is always full of original Vietnamese features. There is a black wooden house with red tiled roof and well-arraged rows of column. Inside puts many light cages illuminating with colors of yellow or red. Combined with those, some items typical of the countryside are placed.
Moreover, when coming here, you can enjoy the coolness of wind blowing from the river. The river scene itself is so great. On one bank, a block of flats in district 2 is visible and on another bank, the Phu My Bridge is completely prominent. Far away, you can see many high buildings occupied the whole area and not so close to your sight, tourist ships and goods ships are resided. Some say that everytime they come to Bien Nho, they all have different feelings.
Sometimes, it should be a wet day when the sky is cloudy; the other day witnesses plenty of sunshines when people are enjoying music bands performing. Seemingly, everything backs up this place and allows it to become such a wonderful sight for relaxtion of the majority of Saigon citizens.
It is the large restaurant in area. There are many sections divided. Besides the outer space, four VIP rooms different in size and luxuriously decorated are put up. In the near future, the restaurant plans to put into action the new lobby for wedding party with capacity of over 900 seats.
Having passion for cooking and devotion in career, its female owner pays close attention to each detail of the restaurant which she considers as a spiritual child. A various menu lists Vietnamese, Chinese, sea-food dishes. The sea ingredients in use are those specialties. Some tiger shrimps, in reality, weigh over 5 kilograms.
Thoughtful staff with professionalism together with acceptable price promise to attract you to come visiting at later time.
