General feature of many Ha Noi ancient citadels is that their names begin with the word “hang”, followed by another word related to a certain job. For example: Hang Dao, Hang Duong, Hang Ma, Hang Thiec, etc.
Those who travel to Ha Noi, visit some ancient citadels will realize that Ha Noi is a big different from other capitals they have come to. From the north of Sword Lake, take a walk around Hang Dao, Hang Ngang, Hang Duong, then you reach Dong Xuan market. And one more typical citadel mentioned is Hang Thiec. The outstanding feature is that the sound of hammer will be recognizable when you take a rip to this place. Local people living here are all hard working. Moreover, their products are what to be known.
